HUMAX Networks has received Conditional Approval for its Wi-Fi 7 router products in response to strengthened requirements from the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC), establishing a foundation for their continued sale in the U.S. market. HNRM30 and HNR2306 had already received FCC authorization and were eligible for sale in the United States. However, while completing FCC authorization procedures associated with recent component changes, additional Conditional Approval became necessary under the strengthened regulatory requirements. HUMAX Networks responded proactively, fulfilled the applicable requirements, and successfully secured the approval. As a result, the products are exempt from restrictions associated with the FCC Covered List, making HUMAX Networks one of a limited number of vendors to have received Conditional Approval.Designed for service providers, the products deliver high-performance Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, supporting high-speed, low-latency connections and stable network performance in environments with multiple simultaneously connected devices. This approval is expected to provide a strong foundation for the continued growth of HUMAX Networks’ Wi-Fi 7 router business and the expansion of new business opportunities in the North American market.
HUMAX Networks' smart antenna alignment solution, OCRA, supported a field trial using its Robot Arm (RA) for Vodafone's network automation efforts. The trial was carried out in a specific area of Tirana, Albania, characterized by a dense concentration of shopping centres. In this deployment, Vodafone's AI-based solution analysed on-site, real-time network conditions to identify the best orientation of the antennas, and the robot arm then precisely adjusted the antenna angle in the required direction based on this analysis. OCRA consists of an Optical Compass (OC) and a Robot Arm (RA). The Optical Compass precisely measures the antenna's azimuth angle to determine its orientation, while the Robot Arm remotely adjusts the antenna angle with fine-grained rotation and tilt adjustments, allowing the antenna to be precisely aligned in the desired direction. An optional OC Controller (OCC) is also available when conditions make it necessary for communication between OCRA and Operator’s server. In this way, OCRA supports network operators by reducing the burden of field dispatch and operations while enabling flexible responses to changing traffic conditions in environments that require network optimisation. OCRA continues to expand its global business through demonstration projects across a range of environments, including high-traffic areas, and this network automation field trial with Vodafone, utilizing the robot arm, serves as a representative example of that expansion. HUMAX Networks is pleased to have contributed to Vodafone's network automation efforts through this field trial, and will continue to broaden the potential of OCRA through future demonstrations across diverse environments.
